SAIL005 - "Lyin' In My Bed" by Deep River, CD-R plus lyric sheet
.jpg)
"This album was recorded between february 2007 and january 2008. It is my first album that is pretty focused on words. Most of the songs are sort of "simple" I guess but it had to be intuitive. Solo four-track, all acoustic guitar with turkish percussion and flutes on the two instrumental songs. Some intense chanting. Scraps of metal. All songs written and recorded by George Glikerdas. I'm 19. I go to school in New York but I'm from New Jersey." Cover photo by Sydney Shen.

SAIL003 - "Songs of the Body, Truths of the Earth" by Lunien, CD-R plus booklet
.jpg)
"Yuri Gohen was born February 23rd, 1985 to a twisted collection of bones and books, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, bottoms up. Boredom sought the good things in the man and he ended up taking off for the west, leaving his words in the ditches, dancing with the witches, muddying his britches. You know, the sort of thing you don't see in the papers. Well, as it goes, music is in his blood, and on his mind and it just so happens he makes it too. Just like me and you. But it comes from the hills and it comes from the skies and it comes from the sun and it comes from the mud and it just may come from him to you."
Tracklist:
Lullaby (And Good Night) / To Live Outside
The Night Fell On Us (The World Turned and Laughed)
The Faeries Song
Endless Beauty (bonus track)
What Did He Do?
O War Machine O War Machine
Do You Know The Way Home?

Morning Has Broken (Good Morning)
All songs by Yuri Gohen. He currently lives in Rochester, New York, still making music. $7 for CD-R plus booklet. I'll probably throw in a print if you buy this. Or a paper boat. Or both. Edition of 50.
SAIL002 - " ", george glikerdas, lp

"These songs were recorded at my home, here in New Jersey. I did them some time ago; I can't really remember when. Probably one or two years ago. All of them were improvised, and there aren't any titles. Actually, I encourage you to make up the titles for the songs! They are really just little bursts of energy. Or at least that's how I like to put it.
The picture on the front is of my grandmother, at her farm in Greece. I don't know who took the picture or when it was taken. I just found it. I thought it would go with the music.
All by george glikerdas ([insert year B.C.E or A.C.E, your choice]) except on last track sydney shen also plays flute." out of print.

SAIL004 - "Sailing Records Interviews Jon Solomon", zine
.jpg)

We also cover TECHNOLOGY AND THE FUTURE OF COLLEGE RADIO briefly. Edition of 25. Due this summer.
SAIL006 - Third Edition prints

SAIL007 - The "Book of Dreams", book/possible cd-r

I mostly just want to make a book of people's dreams. This will happen whenever I get enough submissions! So please submit! Hand-write it to make it as personal as possible. Make a collage, take a picture of a sculpture. make a sound recording. whatever, be creative. you must include a written description of your actual dream. the point is to capture your "real" dreams, not ones you made up or imagined. dreams you actually had. I have a feeling this might take a while. Spread the word! K Thanks.
SAIL008 - Niao
expect more collaged field recordings, brutal noise. who knows what format. probably a cd-r. but we won't fail to keep it interesting, NO WORRIES. By this September.
SAIL009 - music by Roberto Meza, George Glikerdas, and Gordon Spencer-Blaetz
recordings from fall/early winter 2007 at Bard. Pysched-out improv. Will be put together and released early fall 2008.
